The Platinum V5 120A is small, powerful, and, like the other controllers in the Platinum V5 series, features particularly efficient heat dissipation. As a flight controller, it feels right at home in 420-520 size electric helicopters. But of course, thanks to its specifications, it can also be used in medium-sized fixed-wing aircraft.

The Platinum 120A V5 is equipped with a switchable BEC, adjustable from 5 to 12 volts. Additionally, the BEC features a new reverse polarity protection circuit that can be used in parallel with external batteries, providing double protection. Compared to previous ESC versions, the RPM accuracy algorithm makes the Platinum 120A more powerful and reliable. The adjustable constant speed sensitivity allows every pilot to find a setting that suits their flying style and current flying conditions.

The special design also improves airflow, preventing the operating temperature from reaching critical levels. The open design of the Platinum 120A V5 controller is immediately apparent. The additional use of thermal tape and an extra heatsink inside further extends the lifespan and improves heat dissipation from the otherwise sensitive external capacitors.
