The new Mugen Seiki MBX8R buggy was tested and developed by the world's best drivers. The Mugen Seiki team spent considerable time testing and refining the MBX8R's geometry under race conditions in 2021, resulting in numerous major victories. Ryan Maifield won The Dirt Nitro Challenge, the Silver State Nitro Challenge, and the ROAR 1/8th Fuel Nationals that same year!

The MBX8R features many new parts that improve stability, rear-wheel traction, jumping performance, and offer a wide range of tuning options.

New features: • New S-shaped air filter nozzle and high-volume filter housing. • New brake lock-up and brake caliper springs for smoother and more consistent braking. • New 90-degree fuel tank connections for cleaner fuel line routing. • New stabilizer brackets to reduce stabilizer movement. • Emulsion shock absorber caps are included in the MBX8R kit, and you can choose between diaphragm or emulsion dampers. • New high-volume battery box and radio circuit board. • New bracket and receiver box to which switches from various manufacturers can be attached. • Aluminum wing washers. • Rear upper handlebar stem, compatible with the new rear upright struts. • Stiffer and lighter front/rear lower wishbones are available as an option.
